Hello everyone. Thanks for finding my site. I.. ah.. I'm not really one for networking, but everyone seems to like the internet these days so I thought I would give it a try. It's nice to meet you. My name's Eric, Eric Prideux. Haha, yeah, that's French. I'm not really French, though. I mean, that's where my roots are, but I was born here in the United States, same with my dad, their parents, and their parents, so we've been here a while. Mom is so mixed it's hard to tell what her heritage is. I guess that makes me a mixed breed, though, right? Haha.. breed... There's something that sounds totally canine about that.

I didn't live here my whole life. Originally, the whole family lived down south in Tennessee. You wouldn't guess it, though, since none of us have accents. Well, 'cept for maybe Uncle Bob, but he's different. Technically, I guess that I still live down there. I just came up north to Chicago because I'm going to Columbia College. It's a great place for art, but the tuition is insane, even for a seventeen-year-old freshman. We kind of... fudged my admission documents. I have a family member that lives up here so I said that I live with her. It let me have in state tuition and even that's outrageous. It's nice, though. I'm living on campus in a singles dorm room. It's comfortable and the city is fun. I... probably shouldn't have put all of that online.

Oh, right. I'm going here for painting. I should probably change my major since life as a starving artist isn't a fun one, or so I've heard. And I'm going to be living for a veeeeery long time. Let's just say it's... a feeling that I have. There's no more reason for it than that. I just love painting. It's a hobby of mine and I would love to spend my life doing it. It's kind of like my life's purpose.

Damn it, class is about to start. I might add more later, but for now, I guess that this will have to do. If you have any questions, feel free to message me. Oh, and I love new friends. It's nice to make them in college. It's a shame because I haven't gotten close to anyone here. Well, not at the college anyway. There's... a certain bartender, though, that...
