Some background information on me...
My name is Esme Cullen. I am the adopted mother of Edward, Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, and Emmett. I am married to Dr. Carlisle Cullen.Carlisle found me in the morgue in Columbus, Ohio. I had jumped off of a cliff after my first son died after only living a few days. I was heart broken, so I attempted to kill myself. When they found me they presumed me dead, but my heart was still beating. Carlisle detected this, and saved my life.
I love my adopted children as much as I loved my own son, but I still grieve that I cannot bear children, as does my adoptive daughter Rosalie.
