Although, I don't know if I'd play if it didn't have the Gaia mythology. I like seeing characters I already recognize, and I like earning gold and things for my avatar. It ties in really nicely to what the site already has.

xD zOMG is a perfectly good reason to join. I've played a few other RPGs, but really, I think I've enjoyed zOMG the most. I love not having to commit to any particular character path, you know? Like healer, priest, warrior, whatever. It's great to be able to mix and match.
