My Soul Mate

What does love feel like? To me at least, it's a feeling of flying. The wind in my face, my body being weightless, no tug of gravity, just utterly free. That knowledge that someone will always be next to me, always be flying with me. And as long as he's with me, as long as I can see his smile and have his kisses I'll never have to land, I'll always fly. I love my son, as deeply, as unconditionally, as truly as I do my mate, but it's not the same. Loving another person is something he taught me. I'd never known what it felt to be complete. Because he is my other half.

My Greatest Joy and My Greatest Loss

My son, who is now 2, is my pride and joy. He is my life, and my love. His younger sibling was never meant to be born however. A miscarriage, less than 12 hours after I found out I was pregnant, nearly destroyed my life. If it had not been for my son I do not believe I would be here today. I am the mother of two. One is an angel, who I will meet in the next life, and one is my curly haired Bam-Bam.
