Character Personality: Zack is a friendly kind of guy,laid back and a flirt, very loyal to his friends, always keeping whatever promise he makes. He's nice enough and tries to keep people smiling, keep their hopes up as much as he can. Though Zack is in SOLDIER he also has high moral codes, and certain ways of both acting and thinking, he's pretty much a good guy. He tries not to let himself get down about anything and looks at the brighter sides, he hopes that by keeping his own hopes high and always wearing a smile, that it will spread and others will become confident and smile too. Striving to protect people above all else, and fighting those who have no respect for life.

Character History: The 1st class Soldier from Gongaga. who befriended Cloud looked almost like Cloud, except with black hair. While a soldier, he met Aeris and they grew close, but he never returned to Midgar. His parents in Gongaga hadn't heard from him in 10 years. Zack came Midgar and joined the SOLDIER's at age 13. While stationed in Midgar, he met and dated Aeris. he is sent, along with Cloud, Sephiroth and some other soldiers, to investigate reports of monsters causing disruptions in the vicinity of the Mt. Nibel mako reactor. After Sephiroth's massacre of Nibelheim's villagers, Cloud and Zack are taken prisoner in the basement of the Shinra Mansion and used as test subjects for Hojo's Sephiroth "Clone" Project, an experiment designed to test Hojo's Jenova Reunion Theory by injecting subjects with Jenova cells.
However, after four years, Zack breaks out of his confinement and carries the incapacitated Cloud with him during their escape. Zack's ability to escape from his imprisonment is due to the fact that he — being an individual full of self-confidence, and, as a result, a strong will — was unencumbered by the potentially negative side-effects of mako treatment (known as "mako poisoning" wink and had handled the treatment before when being infused with mako as part of the procedure to become a member of SOLDIER. He gives Cloud some of his clothes and gets them transport to Midgar, where he hopes to become a mercenary. However, before arriving in Midgar, they are ambushed by Shin-Ra soldiers. Zack is shot to death, while Cloud, too sick to move, is simply left to die on his own.
Techniques: (Listed Below)
Braver: This involves Zack jumping up into the air and vertically slashing a single enemy.

Cross Slash: This attack does 3 slashes to a single enemy.

Blade Beam: This involves Zack slamming his blade to the ground sending a shockwave to the main target enemy. The main blast ricochets off sending miniature shockwaves at the other enemies doing slightly less damage.

Climhazzard: Zack slices into a single enemy, then jumps upwards with his sword still in the enemy.

Meteorain: Zack spins his blade around then jumps up into the air and creating meteors with his blade which attack all enemies.

Finishing Touch: This involves Zack creating a tornado with his blade which blows all enemies away. Doesn’t always work.

Omni Slash: Zack charges up to the enemy and slashs the enemies 15 times then jump up a charges a white ball of light in mid air. Zack then slashes the white ball of light at the enemies and blows up in front of the enemy.
