I really do like traditional celebrations of any sort. c:
But yes, I do find them annoying at times....when the event happens during an urgent and stressful time.

It may sound easier said than done, but I sort of pushed myself to make new friends.
Going to a new area for education without having friends from your high school I mean, that's what happened to me.

Once it's quiet, I tend to fall asleep without even knowing.

I know what you mean...I mean if you are constantly bubbly, you can get a tad annoyed by it.
I personally don't get annoyed, only because I don't have many friends like that, that I see often.

My friend just told me I like a wide variety of songs, but she can't exactly categorize what I listen to exactly.
I like soft and mellow songs ~
I like certain upbeat songs.
I like a lot of gentle songs.
