To eliminate a ln, you simply multiply it by e, and vice versa. They cancel out and becomes 1. C:

We have everything except the rate. We want to solve for the rate.
A = 625
t = 8
P0 = 100 (initial)

625 = 100e^(8r)
6.25 = e^(8r) ---> take ln of both sides
ln6.25 = 8r ---> divide both sides by 8
r = 0.229072683

So the equation is:
A = 100e^(0.229072683t)

Okay, for the first one:
Based on that equation P(t)=P0e^(rt)
P0 = 45000 (initial population)
r = (1.5% = 0.015)

So the equation is:
P(t) = 45000e^(0.015t)
