Wearing her heart on her sleeve.
Her emotions are in plain view,
For everyone to see.
Her mascara runs,
As tears fall down her face.
As she cries black tears,
Not even trying to hide it.
Her scars aren’t even covered.
Are in full view of the crowd.
Some still bloody,
From her most recent session.
Her eyes are bloodshot,
Her skin so pale.
Her hair is a mess,
She looks so frail.
Yet,
Nobody notices,
This broken soul.
Who, once so full of life,
Is now so full of pain.
Nobody notices,
How this girl cries out in sorrow,
Wishing for someone to save her.
Nobody notices…
Until she’s gone.
