Hello. The name is Skylar (Sky for short please) and I am 17 anyways I'm sorta hyper at the moment and I'm typing really really fast. Well let's tell you a bit about myself. As you know, my name is Skylar Garret. This is also the name of my OCC because it is very easy to remember. I am certainlly a unusual person that loves to just be there and rock out. I love rock and Christian rock the best.

Music is an important thing for me because music is a door to your heart and a key to your soul. What you listen to is almost who you are. It's the you that isn't made of flesh and blood. That's why I listen to Christian rock. When I get to college, I plan to take my "Own Your Religion" book with me. I am 17 right now and I'm going to wait a bit before I go off on my own. You may ask how I'm 17 and I'm thinking about going to college, well I skipped kindergarten and started school early. So therefore I was a year or two younger than my classmates.

But back to the music. I love Relient K because of all their neat Christian music like "Sadie Hawkins Dance" and "Pink Tux to the Prom" It's all good, clean, fun music that is fun to sing to and gets put easily in your head.

There are other bands I like however, like Skillet, Hawthorn Heights, All American Rejects, Three Days Grace, Simple Plan, and Fallout Boy. I listen to music like soundtracks and J-Pop/J-Rock stuff too but not as much as I listen to rock/Christian rock. My fave songs from Skillet are "Whispers in the Dark" and "Better Than Drugs." I pretty much love all the songs from Three Day's Grace but especially "I Hate Everything About You" That was the song that got me hooked onto them. But anywayz music is a very big part of my life and my friends already know that. Lol x3 I also really like Nickleback. They have some pretty good songs, like "Rockstart" and "Photograph" Those are some awesome songs.

I tend to go against a lot of things. Like Child Abuse. That is one thing that I will try to go to law school to become a lawer and stop this sort of thing. It's so annoying and stupid. How can someone hit their own flesh and blood.

Cliques in school annoy me too. They are very stupid and what's the point of being in a group that hurts other people's feelings just to make themselves feel better.

Eating disorders are another thing that I would really like to do away with. It's dangerous and stupid to have an eating disorder. Magazines and fashion shows are what cause these girls (and guys) to think that they have to have this perfect figure when really they don't. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and Jesus Christ loves everyone. So don't think that just because you have to go a size higher that you're ugly because you're not.


I pray for emo kids because they need it the most. Something has really got to going wrong for someone to want to really just end their life. I wish they would remeber that Jesus and I love them and want them to stay on this earth for as long as God wants them here because everyone has a purpose and everyone is needed and loved.

I am a poet and a writer. Or at least that's what I would like to be. I believe that romance is a dead practice that needs to be revived. I mean how many men do you see going to their woman with a gift and a poem just because. Not just because they want some action or it's their anniversery but just because he wants to show that he loves her. How many guys do you see just telling their girls that they love them just because? Not very many.

I enjoy watching anime and reading manga. Some of my favorites are; Dn Angel, Yu-Gi-Oh, Naruto, FMA, and Inuyasha. Case Closed is also one of my favorites because I love the whole mystery thing Jimmy Kudo has going on there. x3

Now back to the anime/manga thing. Well I like certain anime and manga for certain reasons. Like for DN Angel; who couldn't love a little emotion confused boy having to deal with his heart while dealing with a art stealing, Casanova spirt within him that's slowly becoming his best friend and a big part of him? I certainly couldn't help but enjoy Daisuke. Shy, a klutz, not that great talking to girls. That sorta thing. That's why I love DN Angel. Now for Case Closed; I've always been a mystery person and that's pretty much what I love to read so trying to solve the case before Conan did was a huge deal for me, still is in a way. It's jut, you get this blood rush when you discover who the culprit is before the shows over and come to find out, you were right. It's a great feeling. Now on Inuyash; It's just funny to watch him and the perverted monk (Miroku) go through life trying to achieve their goals and still find love. Personally I believe that Kikiyo (can't spell) is a waste to the show because all she causes is trouble and not even that good dramatic trouble. She just causes trouble.

Naruto is like one of those shows that you just watch without even thinging about it. I'm not overly obsessed with it like I am with other shows but I do watch it normally. I do like Naruto and I admire the things he goes through and still is a spunky little guy. I think that is very good. I also like Sasuke Uchiha because he's just this dark, mysterious, lady's man that not many people know about his past. I enjoy how Naruto and Sasuke's pasts are similar but they don't realize this. It's just one big puzzle that they need to find the pieces and put it all together.

I believe that anyone deserves to speak their mind and be heard, so that's why I do not ignore anyone and I try to listen and consider all sides of the story.
