Me In a CoConut Shell
Ha! It's been a while. I'm older, and done with college. I no longer want to be a teacher, but I would be thrilled to succeed as a novelist and voice actress. In the mean time, I'll keep doing work that pays the bills, because I like living indoors with power and food. It's much nicer than living outside.
I am actively trying to become a better person and to learn more about myself and the world. I do not allow people to treat me like junk. I have value, and I will not let people convince me otherwise.
I'm a Christian. God has brought me through a lot of hard times in the last two years, and nothing can shake my faith in him. Trust me, I've been through more in the last two years than most people experience in a decade. I will not force my beliefs on you, and I would appreciate the same courtesy.
I'm chronically depressed and on antidepressants. Depression is real, and it is beyond the control of those who have it. For me, it was like being trapped in a dark cave without any way out. Thanks to the medication, counseling, and God, I am making my way out of the cave and into the sun. I can't describe how glorious it is to be happy when you have had 20 years of sorrow.
I'm pretty intelligent, but I don't use it as a wall or a weapon. I've been around people who use their brains to force people away or make themselves seem important. That's not what intelligence was made for.
