It's not only that I knew him as Leon first, I also think Squall is the stupiddest name on the face of the planet. Maybe everybody else doesn't use it in everyday conversation to mean "screaming wildly" (e.g. the baby was squalling all night) so maybe that's why they don't see the dumbtasticness in it, lmao.

Well she started out watching me play them, then she wanted to play them too, and she started out with Chaos Legion and played it so much she was like, wtf she was figuring out these glitches and had levels memorized and crap and I was so sick of the music that I made her play KH, and she beat it, so then she played KH2, and she played it every single day @.@!!!!! she was wearing me out on it so like, I made her play Spyro, and she doesn't like it so now she's reading Twilight. At least it's quiet here. xD She likes KH2 better cuz it's easier to play and she won't touch CoM cuz she says it'll be too hard.

I'm getting her FF8 so she can play something besides KH; she's getting me burnt out on it. Every single evening you hear the music from The Beauty and the Beast's level, wtf. hahaha

Yeah, same here. I've never played the other FFs, people say they're great but they just don't look interesting to me. :/ I can't help it, just having the title "Final Fantasy" isn't enough to get me to play them. So I think it's dumb people run me down for only liking 7, it's so silly.

Just ordered FF8 off eBay today though. I'm getting it for my mom xD she likes Leon in KH; we played FF7 and she was like "So where's Leon?" and I was like "In FF8" and she was like "Well get FF8 then! Dx" lmao.

And we are soooo naming him Leon when it asks to put in his name, lmao!

It's a big thing on DeviantART: "Copy and paste this into your signature." I don't see it on Gaia as much, though.

I've been playing it forrrrr..... two years I think. And been into FF7 for three or so, something along those lines... Cuz I joined dA in 06 and I got into FF7 after that, so yeah. About that long.

I get really tired of people bragging about how they played it longer than me and they even watched it in Japanese before it was out in English and blaaaaah blah blaaaaah. e___e I don't see what difference that makes and I'm not impressed.

Yeah the secret ending trailer thing made it look so much better than it actually was. I got into KH like, I don't know, KH2 had already been out so long it was common knowledge that Axel dies. Sooooo that part was obviously spoiled. I was playing KH1 going "I don't know who Axel is but he's gonna die o3o" Because of the "If you cried when Axel died copy & paste this into whatever" stuff. e_e

That's what I liked about AC too was the super real graphics, and the characters were all cool and stuff. I was making random people watch it and kept saying at random times "And remember, they're not real! Don't they look real!?" cuz I thought it was easy to forget they were just CG'd. I got KH cuz I saw this Sora x Riku amv and I was like 'wow that really does look, erm... O3o' and I saw blindfolded Riku online and thought he looked uber cool. I got KH to see him that way and cuz Cloud was in it and I wanted to see what the big deal was. >3>; And blindfold-Riku wasn't even there. XD lmao. And he wasn't hardly like that in KH2 either. I was like PSH! False advertisement!!! So I always hoped the new one would have him in it like that more.

I was wondering what could possibly be so awesome about a kid in poofy shorts with a giant key running around with Disney characters. And it turned out to actually be really awesome. Some stuff though, like, when I watched the Twilight movie, and like, Dirge of Cerberus, they weren't as epic as people told me they were. Not that people really talked about KH to me, I just kept seeing it on dA a lot and stuff.

I notice the huge OMGVINCENT DoC thing has worn off rather quickly, lol. People rarely mention it now.

It's funny when people b***h over only liking ff7 cuz it's popular, because I just happened to be in Wal-Mart one day and saw FF7AC and saw the picture of him carrying Kadaj on the back and was like "hey that looks cool..." so I bought it. I'd never HEARD of it at the time, I thought Final Fantasy 1-6 were the first part of Cloud's story and this was part 7.

So if people are going to criticize my reasons for getting into it, they could at least be accurate with their accusations, wtf. xD AC was the only thing about FF7 I'd ever seen and I really liked it, so I got KH cuz Cloud was in it >w> and loved it too... then I got DoC cuz Cloud was in it and gave up playing and later cheated and watched it online. Didn't get FF7 until forever later and it CERTAINLY wasn't "only because of the graphics" lmao. Or because it was popular. But people are just stupid and selifsh, I guess.

Yeah that's what I find funny about it, Sora's the new hero of this game, so Cloud has to be a wimp and no help at all, or he'd end up rendering Sora pointless (same for Squall/co/everyone too) and Xemnas/Ansem/etc are the new bad guys, so Sephiroth has to not do anything bad, or HE'D be the threat instead and that'd mess with things, haha. I guess that's why they added the bit about the Keyblade choosing Sora, so he HAS to do it even if Cloud/co are stronger fighters than him, cuz they still can't use the Keyblade.

I thought FF7 was very good for a game with primitive graphics and no voices whatsoever. It had its flaws but what game doesn't? Same with Kingdom Hearts and Xenosaga. I like them, I have my own reasons for liking them, and I don't care if FF7/KH is over popular or that XS isn't popular at all, and I don't care if anyone else hates them. I just get sick of people flaming it for stupid reasons. They like to sound like they're against the mainstream, but really they're just following another mainstream where hating 'popular' stuff is actually is the popular thing to do.
