Ty. biggrin I kinda felt like ripping off DFO's interface and turning it into an animated layout. The animation came out kinda choppy, though. sweatdrop I had to manually bash the screenshot key to get multiple frames. I'm sure there's a better way of doing that.
As for your question in regards to animation, I think it depends. I think it's a little time consuming since you have to do frame-by-frame. I'm sure with tons of practice, it's not all that hard. In the very beginning, it may seem difficult. It's good to start off with simple projects, such as animating eyes to blink or adding a "blush" animation to their cheeks. Taking a course in animation would also speed things along. Now, if you're trying to animate stuff using flash, that's another story. I think flash may have a higher learning curve compared to .gif creation.
If you're interested in .gif animation, I can recommend a decent, free .gif animation site. It's quite nice and does not watermark your .gifs to hell.
