About

Hi everyone! My name is Franklin Richards! (Yeah. I'm that Franklin Richards, son of Mr. Fantastic and The Invisible Woman.)

I've got a pretty interesting life if I do say so myself, living in the Baxter Building with my little sister and my mom and dad and Uncle Johnny and Uncle Ben. All kinds of fun, and dangerous stuff happens. My dad is kind of weird, and he makes my mom mad a lot, but they're okay. I think Uncle Johnny makes mom just as mad as dad does, sometimes.

I'd like to think of myself as a pretty normal boy, though sometimes that's not the case with all of the enemies that my family makes, and all of the stuff that happens, but all in all it's mostly fun. (Though sometimes it can be annoying.) And I've made some great friends along the way, too!

Name:
Franklin Richards

Universe:
Earth - 616

Species:
Human-Mutant

Team:
Fantastic Four,
Fantastic Force

Aliases:
Ego-Spawn, Avatar,
Tattletale, Psi-Lord,
Franklin Benjamin

Age:
10

Hair:
Blonde

Eyes:
Blue

Powers:
Currently Depowered
Although he has made mental blocks in his mind to block out the use of most of his powers, Franklin is an extremely powerful mutant child with the ability to create "pocket universes" with his mind. He can occasionally see the future in his dreams, and put himself into trance like states that allow him to manifest himself in a "ghostly" image elsewhere. He can see, and hear everything that happens in this other location, though it's thought that this ability has gone back into a more latent state.

When Franklin achieves the conscious use of his full powers, he will have telepathic powers, tremendous telekinetic powers, the ability to fire enormously powerful energy blasts, and the ability to rearrange the molecular structure of matter, even up to a cosmic scale, though for now most of his abilities are dormant as they should be on a child his age and size.

Namor nods in agreement when Sue suggests heading back to their home. "When we get there we'll see what we can do about your little seahorses." He smiles slightly, but not superficially, at Franklin.

"Don't be silly, Franklin, it's wonderful!" Sue cooed, taking the picture and admiring it before handing it back to her son. "Keep it in your backpack until we get home for safe keeping, and then we'll put it up on the fridge, ok?"

The boy was swept up in another appreciative hug before Sue finally let him go, handing the picture back and standing up straight. "Shall we head home, then?" A glance was given to Namor to let the Atlantean know he was welcome to follow them home, but Sue still hadn't made up her mind about dinner, and she was glad Namor wasn't pushing it.

Namor almost makes a comment about the surface world and all of its horrible synthetic chemicals. However, his plans for tonight are hanging in the balance so he holds back. Today is somewhat of a holiday for Namor in terms of behaving himself, and thinking before he acts. Maybe it's the dry surface air making him loopy. Or maybe it's Susan....

From the mouth of babes.... Sue had to stop herself from looking mildly upset when Franklin invited Namor to dinner. It was supposed to be a family event, and even if both men in question agreed to be civil, there would always be that tension there. It just didn't seem like a good idea. But he'd already been invited, and it just seemed like it would be extremely rude to turn him away, even if he probably would understand. And she really did enjoy his company...

"Maybe we can find something to dip them in to keep them as perfect as they are and a little less breakable," the boy's mother suggested, trying to turn the subject away as well to give herself some time to consider the options.

"Sophisticated, you say?" He examines the shells adorning Sue's earlobes once again. "Next time they shall be pearls!" He looks from her ear to her eyes, raising his eyebrows, as if to ask her opinion on Franklin's invitation to dinner.

To give her a moment to think it over, he turns back to Franklin. "Of course you can put it on a string. You could even put Valeria's on a string as well, so she may wear it as a lovely necklace."

Franklin's hesitant antics didn't go unnoticed by his mother, and her smile faded a touch, but seemed to be back in full force a moment later as Franklin went on about his picture. "I'd love to see it, honey," she beamed at her son, bending down to wrap her arms around him. She never minded his childish ways. She liked to feel like a normal mother raising a normal son sometimes. And after all they'd been through, she was happy to see Franklin acting like a kid his age should.

When he noted her earrings, she pulled back and tucked her hair behind her ear on one side. "Namor gave them to me as a birthday present. Do you like them?" she asked, honestly looking for her son's approval.

"Let me take Val's," Sue offered, holding her hand out to Franklin for one of the sea horses. It was a cute present. Sue thought it nice that Namor was thinking about the kids.

Namor watches in quiet awe as the small boy talks a mile a minute. "Hello, Franklin. Yes, I came to wish your mother a happy birthday, however I'm afraid I can't stay long. But before I go..." He reaches into his back pocket and pulls out two tiny dried seahorses. "One for you, and one for your sister. Be careful with them, little one, they are fragile!" He gives Franklin a wink.

There he went with the jabs at human civilization again. Not that Sue really disagreed. She had grown up in the suburbs where it wasn't as disgusting as the city. She enjoyed the country air and the simple life, and it had taken her a good bit of time to acclimate to the fast lane. But above all, she had to agree that Atlantis is beautiful. Many a time she wished she could live there, but even if Reed agreed, it wouldn't be good for the children to live in a society where they were freaks.

Sue's smile turned warm and genuine when she caught sight of her son, and she waved back enthusiastically, her pace picking up just a bit to reach the boy faster. "Hey champ, have a good day at school?"
