Sorry to be kind of rude...
Which I don't want to be rude at all, quite the opposite.
I just took note that you posted underneath of me in the "You swap bodies with the AAY. What do you notice?" thread.
However, I am kind of confused by your post to me, and to your post above mine to the other user.
I noticed to them, that you were referencing yourself as (a centaur? a shape-shifter?) which ended up with you becoming a human male in the body swap.
Perhaps it would be of help if you place a reference of what your character is and what your character can do, in your signature.
Just as I have posted that my character is a thief; it lets people know exactly so they won't be confused.
But my confusion is towards your post to me.
(So you don't have to look it up, I'll post it for you.)
"((hmmm, who haven't I brought out to play yet? Oh! I'll bring out my mer.))
After trying to change forms and realizing she cant, she sits on the shore in a daze. Instincts won't help now."
I am confused with this since I feel that my character wasn't really used in the game of body-swapping.
I'm no magician / centaur / shapeshifter or any such; just a human thief.
Maybe we can clear something up instead of coming to some kind of tiff?
Trying to be nice to you, it was suggested that maybe sometimes reading the first post would be helpful in getting to understand a game.
Also, it is kind of looked down on (sometimes very heavily by others) to place your own settings on someone else's character (Such as Shadow can't do any shape changing.)
I wouldn't necessarily call it god-modding, just a bit of misunderstanding.
Plus I'm not really sure if you're aware of this or not, but some people are also not too fond of what is 'sandwich posting'.
It is where you post, a person posts, you post again, a person posts, and you post again.
True, I have done this myself when I began playing in the WGs, and I was scolded for it.
The reason sandwich posting is kind of avoided is so that other characters can interact equally with everyone.
Not saying you're a sandwicher like I was (I was awful about it), but just trying to give you a helpful hint so you don't get people mad at you.
I will understand completely if you're still rather new at the WGs, or just not understanding something.
I was new myself, and it took a bit of help from a few good people to get started in the right direction.
So I don't want you to feel sad, I don't want you to feel bad, I don't want you to get mad, though I'm sure you either will be or can be.
But I'll have you know, I may be used to the WGs, I'm still a complete noob at doing RP stuff.
I know I'm not perfect myself, and I admit it.
*nod nod*
So, maybe some kind of information or an explanation to get things less-confused?
