I wasn't super impressed with it the first time, but Gollum had never been better. The look of devastation on his face when he realied the ring was lost was perfect.

Yeah, they're gross and were thrown in just for the kids. I understand the Hobbit was more of a children's book, but that movie had some very NON kid friendly things in it. If you're going to go kiddie route, you can't hold up severed Dwarf heads.
