My Chatterbox Love Letter
Febrary 26, 2oo7
Usually, my love, you're a wonderful source of amusement. Usually, my dear, you keep me occupied for hours. Usually, mon amour, you know how to show me a good time. . .
Lately, you've been a bit distant. Perhaps it's me, but . . . but I'm the same as I've always been. I've thought about it for a long time, pondered over it, racked my brain . . . and in doing this, I have come to the conclusion that it's you. You're just not as good as you used to be. Perhaps time's worn you out? Perhaps . . . perhaps we need to take a break from each other?
I don't want to leave you though! Please, tell me what I can do to fix things! Once again, become my playground, my pasttime, my fun! I don't want to have to move on--I don't want another forum like the General Discussion. . . Not even the Extended Discussion is as good as you are! So please don't make me move on. Please . . . be my centre of focus once more?
Yours Truly,
____Galt

I like to tell myself that the Writing and Picture Post forums are slow because the potential responders are taking their sweet, sweet time to give quality reviews with a delicate balance of scathing (yet constructive) criticism and florid praise. The regulars there are rather sharp, after all.
Just remember kids...
IF YOU HAVE SEX,
YOU WILL GET AIDS,
AND DIE!
Oh and
I love your siggy!
The only thing about the Chatterbox that I don't like is that even the best hangout threads degenerate into bumping or single-smiley posts, and no one thanks you when you do their Geometry homework for them. And of course, threads move so fast that you're already fifteen pages behind the second you click on a thread. I'm more of a slowpokey person, but when I tried the Writer's forum, things went too slowly and I didn't like that very much.
