Background
My name is Lawrence Harvey Zeiger, but at a young age my father died of a heart attack and thus I acquired the last name King when my mother remarried. Of course, you may call me Larry King, or just Larry, but I prefer to be referred to as Mr. King because I am probably older than you.In fact, I am so old that even though I was born in 1933, the oldest year Gaia had in their drop down menu was 1938 when I was signing up!
I have 7 children and I am happily marry to Shawn Southwick. I've been working at CNN since 1985 and I am the anchor for Larry King Live. I have interviewed over 40,000 people so far.
I am very good friends with Anderson Cooper of AC360°, and Larry King Live happens to air right before Anderson's show, so please be sure to tune into both of our shows for some great interviews and then for the latest news.
