I'm Jacques, but you can call me Geffy/Gef/etc. if you want to. I was born in Germany, but raised in Canuckland... and currently living in a tiny studio in Quėbec City, where you freeze to death 364.5 days of the year. I still visit my family in Germany during school breaks so I don't get too homesick. =D
I am multi-lingual and am the definition of a racial mutt. I am predominantly of German and Austrian descent, though I have Czech, French, Danish, Polish and some Russian blood.
As you can probably tell, I'm a World War history enthusiast. I love learning as much as I can about World War I, World War II, and the Spanish Civil War, and my avatars often reflect these themes. Some of my other interests are outlined in the handy-dandy interest box, which you'll find to the side. I'll get to updating and expanding them eventually, so don't worry if they seem really limited!
Oh, and please don't let my avatar scare you. I'm really not as mean/scary as I look. XDD I'll talk to just about anyone, so don't be afraid to leave a comment or send me a PM!
I apologize if I don't reply to your comment/PMs quickly. Trust me, I'm not ignoring you... I just don't really pay attention to the little header thing. Just keep bugging me and I'll eventually see it. (I usually pay more attention to PM).

Haha I'm thinking that in a couple of decades, you'd either have to know Spanish or Chinese along with English, otherwise you'd be screwed if you want to work internationally in trade and all that. The Chinese are taking over the world. Like locusts. emo Betcha my ancestors are going to smite me for saying that. XD
No wild drinking parties? D: But if you don't do those now, it'll be too late when you graduate! See, when you've graduated and you get crazy drunk, people call security because you're being a public nuisance. But while you're still a student, everyone laughs it off and are like, "Oh, students. Remember the time when we...?" It's true. :p
Having one outfit makes you easier to remember. c: Seriously, sometimes I post in the WGs and people say they've never seen me before even though they've posted before/after me countless times. ; n ;
And two languages?! Simultaneously? You poor thing. gonk But that's the price to pay if you want to be something like a diplomat. ^^" Did you at least choose two that aren't too similar so they don't confuse you?
XD Now that Spring Break is over, you must have a naughty story to share. I hear that's usually when all you kids go wild up there.
