I'm spending christmas with my parents, sister, brother, sister in law, brother in law, and my girlfriend is going to be spending christmas with us for the first time ^__^
There will be lots of food all day; breakfast/brunch, appetizers & snacks, then dinner. And of course there will be booze with all that food razz

It's basically All chain stores, and restaurants. I have to drive about 20 mins out of town to get to a non-chain store.

neutral I actually live in a town that was rated one of the wealthiest in the country, based on income of businesses in the area, house values, and general family incomes. Although driving through, we do Not look like it .__. I mean, you'd think we had mic-mansions everywhere and s**t like that, but no. -shrug-

That wouldn't be too surprising, especially if other branches have higher incomes than yours. There aren't many places in my area hiring for seasonal either D:

It's possible, but not a chance I'd be willing to risk. : my girlfriend had a seasonal job, they said they were going to buy the location (they'd open new branches in malls to have new stores for the holiday season) and she'd be hired. Then they gave her about a weeks notice that they were not buying the location and were closing. She was screwed over and wasn't able to find another place to work for another 7 months.

Aaaaah.... everywhere? just about? o__o Part of my problem is there aren't very many jobs in my area at the moment that I 1) Qualify for 2) Feel like I can/would even do 3) Pay decently enough for me to want to take it. Everything is either above my qualifications, not something I would ever want to do, like management training. I don't want to get sucked into sales, and I'm not really into that whole social butterfly thing that they want. Or, I've seen wanders sales person type of jobs, where you'd be expected to go out and make connections with other companies so they'll buy things from your company. That or, everything else I've found has been simple things like, stores at a mall hiring for the holiday rush. And of course none of these things are in my field of major really. =___=
