I am different at times, and I might say something to someone that no one else would say to them, and the might get a little scared of me. Is it because I act different, or because you wouldn’t expect something like that from me? I think that it is because people are afraid to face who they really are at times. They are afraid of what someone else has to say. They’d rather be miserable than happy; doing things that they hate instead of things that they love. When I walk down the hall at school or down an aisle in a store people tend to stare at me. Is it because I am the most beautiful thing that you have ever seen or are you just curious? Do I look funny to you? Yes, I act different from other people, but doesn’t everyone? I believe that it is you who deeply wishes that you could do the things that I do. You wish that you could go out and act like a fool at times, and not care what people think. Do you think of people at times? Declaring me as insane when you don’t know what normal is. If I am insane and you are not, than does this mean that your not living life to the fullest? Insane is defined as a person who is mentally deranged. Someone who is utterly senseless, but “normal” is someone who is free from any mental disorder. Why is that? Who decided that these words were right? What if normal was insane and insane was normal? Would I be normal than or still insane? If I were to go out in my front lawn screaming like a maniac while holding a sign that said “gangsters are a waste of skin and life and they all should die” I would get shot. Instead I have to walk the streets like a “normal” person. Have to make sure that people around me don’t get offend or scared in any way, but does this stop me? No! It’s not my fault that you’re afraid to show who you are. Would you like it better if everyone was a gray blob and we all looked the same? I sure wouldn’t. You ask yourself, “why is it that she can go out and do these things without remorse to what other people think?” It’s a matter of accepting who I am and who you want me to be. You want me to be just like you. Go out and buy from the same stores that you do, join the same clubs as you. I don’t want to do that, I want to enjoy my life. It’s too short to care what it is that other people have to say. I’m not going to give up the way I act because you don’t like it.
