The key is, not to care so much about the progress you're making, and to just have fun.

POST, POST, POST. Whether you have to go to the Chatterbox and spam to get your gold, post a lot. And comment on a lot of peoples' profiles, that actually makes more gold for you. I get a lot of gold because I have so many items to sell. XD;; Also, if you are able to donate to Gaia, it's only $2.50 for one item, and with just that measly amount of real money, you could make 10-15k in a month, and if you wait a little for inflation (if it happens; it's a risky moves), you'll make more of a profit. I mean, I have like, 76.7k right now. XD;; That's the most I've had in a while. Good luck getting closer toward your dream avi, and awesome profile, I forgot to say.
