Here we go again. XD

Well, first of all, I'm Hahligirl56, or Alta, if you know me on the BZPower RPG forums...yeah, what are the odds of meeting one of the guys here except for Sera? XD

I am a Christian, and am trying my best to grow closer to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. smile

I love writing, though I don't actually write stories very often, but if I think an idea is worthy of doing, then I'll do it. I've got a real powerful imagination (to the point where I can bend the characters to my will and make them say something they normally would XD) Unfortunetly, this power of mine does not really affect the real world, so in other words, I am pretty much your average teenage girl, but I'm not so average either. I love playing video games, and I'm comfortable hanging with guys...I'm a tomboy, so there. razz

I have written two fanfics on Fanfiction.net (still writing one of them) so I can't wait to see how it comes out. smile

Favorite books:

1.) The Ghost of Fossil Glen - We read this book back in 6th grade, and I loved it; it seemed really descriptive and powerful to me, and had humor in it as well, as well as some fact. I'm hoping to get my hands on a copy for myself sometime soon...

2.) The Outsiders - We just read this book this year in English, and it was amazing and powerful. We also watched the movie afterwards. I liked Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dally the best. And to believe it was all written by a girl at that time! Pretty cool! =)

3.) Samir and Yonatan - This is a Hebrew-translated book about a Palestinian boy in an Israeli hospital awaiting surgery from an American doctor and is waiting in a room with several Jewish children, each with his or her own story, as they intertwine with Samir's, the Palestinian boy. It's a very sweet story, showing what could happen if just one boy, who has been brought up all this time to think that this other nation was an enemy, befriends them.

Favorite movies:

1.) The Great Race - I grew up with this movie, and it's a wild-packed funny adventure with love, drama, pies, and of course, car racing. It's a great movie, my favorite parts being with the pie fight near the end of the movie, and right near the intermission when the main characters are freezing in Alaska. XD

2.) Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - Another car movie that I grew up with, and it has influenced me as well. A lovely picnic at the beach is soon turned into an adventure with d**k Van Dyke...and all that I can say is that this is another must-see. smile

3.) All three BIONICLE movies - Seriously, why is my name HAHLIgirl56? :3
Cause Hahli is my favorite character in the BIONICLE franchise, because we are very much alike...anyways, I've loved the BIONICLE movies; taped two of them, in fact. The third one is the darkest one, not to mention my favorite. It's all PG-material, so it's fine for young kids, but it's also a great way for LEGO to show Good vs Evil. Very interesting stories indeed...

4.) Most Disney Movies - I've watched these movies hundreds of times, so it's hard to say I don't like them. smile

Favorite shows:

1.) The Andy Griffith Show (always will be #1 in my list; it's the best of the best!, and nothing can make me change my mind!)

2.) Naruto (favorite anime thus far) smile

3.) Disney Channel - Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Hannah Montana, and Wizards of Waverly Place. ^_^

4.) Avatar: The Last Airbender

Other anime I really, REALLY like that are up there with Naruto are: Blood , .hack//SIGN, Death Note, Romeo x Juliet, Azumanga Daioh...and that's all for now on that. smile

Other shows I like are: Codename Kids Next Door, Kappa Mikey, Jimmy Neutron, Fairly Odd Parents, and Spongebob Squarepants. smile

Video games (oooh!):

1.) Age of Empires II - I've played and loved this game ever since I was a toddler; though I've never made it past a chapter or two in the campaign stories. XP

2.) Empire Earth - Kinda the same as Age of Empires II, though it has better graphics, more options, great music, and more interaction. biggrin

3.) Knights of Honor - Yet another PC strategy game that I'm really good at, though my dad is better; he actually BEAT the game! ><;

4.) The Guild 2 - I got this one cheap, but it was worth it! =D
Seriously; you get to ba people, make up your own dynasites, court, marry and have kids, duel, buy food and other items, dance...it's fun, especially when you get more and more gold; I get mine by hiring thieves. biggrin

5.) The Legend of Zelda - I only have Wind Waker, but I was able to play Ocarina of Time, too. They're really awesome games with great battle formations, magic, and story. I especially love the music. =D

6.) I have Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2: I have to say that I like Roxas better than Sora; I feel more sorry for him. WHY couldn't he have stayed longer?! ;_;
But, yeah, the mix between Disney and Final Fantasy is really enjoyable; I hadn't even heard about most of the Final Fantasy characters until playing Kingdom Hearts. XD

7.) The Sims 2 - I have both the PC version and the Gamecube version; I like the PC version better, though. More options, and lots more fun! =D
It's just so hard for me to go so far, though!

Now games I'd like to play but don't have yet:

1.) Final Fantasy VII and VIII - I don't have these two games myself, but I've seen the gameplay and story online, and I have to say that I want these games myself soon! =D

2.) .hack//GAMES - Can't the tears on the screen tell you enough? ;-;
They're hard to find, they're expensive, plus if I had to ask my parens and they assume it's another one of those 'anime games' I'd get a flat-out 'NO'. That's why, if I'm lucky, I'll wait until I'm 18 or so and buy/order them. I hope...

3.) Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Twlight Princess - These three games I'd REALLY love to have. I borrowed Ocarina of Time though, even though I never really finished it. Too hard for me... ><

Favorite music:

1.) Oldies - You know: The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, ABBA, Boney M, Middle of the Road, and more; I've grown up to this kind of music. smile

2.) Opera - Opera can be quite lovely if you have an open mind, and are curious to hear other tastes. ^_^

3.) Pop - Well, I mean things like Hannah Montana, and the other bands that people are screaming to keep on going; I've listened to one or two songs of these bands on TV and online, and I like them. They don't reach out to me as far, but I like them. I'm for the new and the old, I guess. ^_^;

4.) Orchestral - Things like William Tell, and modern orchestras like Yanni...their music is so magical and powerful to me, that it helps inspire me when I think or when I write.

5.) Foreign - Also something I've grown up with; since my parents are immigrants, I've mostly listened to Greek, French, Romanian, and Italian songs when I was little. Now, not only am I still listening to these songs, but I'm broadening my horizen by listening to Japanese and Salsa music as well. smile

Favorite characters:
I really don't want people throwing pies into my face, but these are my favorite characters from my favorite anime/show:

Naruto - Kakashi, Haku, Hinata
Death Note - L (curse you, Light! DX)
Blood - Saya, Solomon, Haji, and I guess I kinda like Diva (you have to feel SOMEWHAT sorry for her! sad )
.hack//SIGN - Sora (can't help it; you gotta give him his dues, since he's just plain awesome! And I almost cried when I saw the last episode of SIGN and UNISON. ;_ wink
Avatar: The Last Airbender - Zuko, Sokka, Katara, Toph, and I kinda like Azula, too. smile
Andy Griffith Show - Andy, Barney, Opie, Aunt Bea, Gomer, Goober, Floyd...pretty much the entire cast! XD
