The Hanazuke Phenomenon

Hi! I'm Hanazuke, known to the outside world as Anne ^_^.

I'm a Seamstress in my early 20s who's trying to get her act together to finish school and get a degree in costume design.

For now I'm making ends meet by working in an alteration shop. So basically I hem pants all day. (well other stuff too, but I'm the only native english speaker at the shop so I spend most of my time helping customers and really don't have enough time for the big orders)

I love Anime/Manga/Japanese culture in general, and have since I was about 14. I took 3 years of Japanese in highschool, and am continuing independant study. I'm actually quite good.

My current anime of choice is Prince of Tennis, though this has been true for over 3 1/2 years now. I am especially a HUGE fan of the musicals and will forever be jealous of my roomie for getting to see one of them live in Japan

I also love Bleach, Kyou Kara Maou, and a bunch of other series that just aren't popping into my head at the moment. ^__^.

I am MAJORLY into cosplay and have even recieved a few high-ish level rewards for my efforts. Maybe I'll post some pics of my winning costumes someday....
