Ehem. Yes, I did indeed watch the movie. There are about 3 movie versions of the book and I watched the 1989 one. It is almost the same as the book. biggrin
I am currently re-reading Jane Eyre. I forgot most of the book already.

Yes, and Lindner assasinates Lena in her sleep, eats all their socks, and then commits suicide from the top of Lincoln's head, Mt. Rushmore. biggrin (jk!)

Seriously, the family ends up moving to their new house at Clybourne Park. The book ends with Lena taking her plant with her, along with a last glance at the old apartment.
