Resting In Agony
You meet the darkness every time you close your eyes. Even during the day you’ll be beneath blackened skies. You hallucinate images that slowly make you want to die.
Like your loved ones jumping from places up high. Images so horrible you wish you’d go blind. But all you see are the demons and on your brains they dine.
You sit and prey for the suns sweet shine. You pray to every entity they say was divine. As the blood gushes pass your waist line.
It rises ever higher as you reach for the sky. The blood flows in to your mouth and comes out your eyes. It submerges you completely and starts to warp your mind.
As you float there both lifeless and bloated a light splits the darkened sky. You wake from your slumber sweaty and alone but happy you’re alive.
