Character Name: (alias) Avius Secuter --real name is Gene SelahWhen he was six, and his sister one, Gene was sold into slavery by his mother, who'd left their father for unknown reasons. He grew up in the servant's quarters at a large castle, and was owned by Lord Spatha, ruler of the most populated province in their country. In Lord Spatha's family, the Nihilum family, almost everyone was in line for the throne. Lord Spathat himself was about Seventeenth on the list at that time.
The country where he was enslaved was called Aevum, (and the Province was 'Cogitatio').

Backstory: Avius has been a slave since he was the age of six, sold by his father to a rich Nobelman in a province called Cogitatio. He began to learn fencing and swordplay when he became eleven, because he was a hard worker and good humored, so that his Master came to like him. Although he can fight with swords, the pike is his favorite weapon, a spear with two hooks facing backwards, and he has several in a small collection. When Avius turned sixteen he began to protect the family who owned him as a bodyguard and later fought for them in a civil war. When he turned Twenty, he learned that the family would never release him from service, because he was entrusted with certain secrets, and quickly began to plan an escape, while continuing to keep their confidence. When he had been twenty-three for a few months, his plan came to fruition and he escaped, but was hunted and caught a few towns over, and after only fifteen days' freedom.
Powers: Avius is an excellent fighter, and can easily take down an enemy twice his size through weight distribution techniques. His strongpoint in battle is his pike or broadsword, and his strategies overall. Spiritually, his powers are unknown and untested.
