Merry let out a little "oh!" and mimicked Cole, placing a finger before her lips. "Okay. But...you should meet Orin sometime. I promise I won't tell as long as you meet Orin sometime. He gets lonely in the forest" Merry giggled.

Merry nodded in response with a cheery smile, hand still in Cole's as she listened eagerly of the news Cole had to give her. "Elias? Oh! I see he's been doing alright then!" Merry giggled. "Prince Touga? Splendid! We've both been meeting princes! I met Orin again! You should come talk with him sometime! I'm sure you two would become fast friends!" Merry giggled.
"Then your circle of friends will grow!" she started to skip along with the slightly taller girl.

Merry giggled, holding Cole tightly. "I've been alright. I've been playing with my friends and some." Merry giggled and took Cole's hand, walking around with her. "You've been faring well, right?" she giggled.

"I've searched this entire area." Elias lowered his head. "I'm saving up to buy a train ticket to find him else where. But it's expensive for a ticket now that I'm almost 13." He pouted. "Kids tickets are cheaper, but I'm not considered a kid anymore."

The princess roamed about the hallways of the house. She was a stranger here, and perhaps uninvited. But She had missed her and longed to see her. "Cole? Cole, are you there? It's me, Merry!" Merry sighed, a little unhappy to not have been greeted by her niece. Funny...they were close to the same age. It felt odd to be an aunt. Merry crossed that word over. She would rather be considered 'close-relative-friend' rather than aunt, and decided to keep looking anyway.
"Cooooooo~oooole!" Merry called.

Madeline gasped from the hug but then smiled. "Cole-chan, I'm sure either way, there's love involved in your relationships with the both of them." Madeline smiled and tapped the tip of Cole's nose "I'm sure of it. Either brotherly love or the real thing. Maybe both?" Madeline giggled and apologetically smiled. "I'm sorry I couldn't say or do anything to help, Cole-chan..." the girl looked down at the floor with guilt.

"Blah?" Madeline did not understand. Was this the new slang kids used these days? She merely blinked and tried to make sense of this girl's problem. "S-so...Kiryu-san...AND Elias? But..." Madeline sighed. Love was a new and different thing to her. She was older than Cole and yet, she was still undeveloped for it.
It made her feel quite silly that Cole was already on the verge for something wonderful while she could do nothing to help. Madeline pouted all the while.
