...I'd thwack you on the head back for not having a beyond-graduation plan, but then you'd probably try to castrate me with my own bokken or something. But seriously, Hiro-chan? You need to figure something out. I used to be an English major, but then I figured out really quickly that it wasn't going to take me along any career paths I wanted to take. Do you have a scholarship? 'Cause otherwise it's going to be a b***h paying off your college loans. Being a Graphic Designer at least is going to pay my bills: I can worry about writing manuscripts when I have a stable financial situation.

I'm going to be busy for a lot longer than the next few years! But yeah, thanks. Do you have any projects you're working on? Not school projects, y'know... stuff like my manga, a big ol' project that you really just want to work on rather than your schoolwork?

Aargh, you overachiever. =P I'm in almost the exact opposite situation: I'm a "Senior" with only enough credits to be considered a "Junior" - I'll be graduating in five years, not four. ^_^; As for extracurriculars, I do recall telling you about my Kenjutsu/Self-defense class, but that ended when my teacher graduated. So, afterwards, I decided to take up Western fencing, and have surprisingly found it a lot of fun. Furthermore, the possibility of a never-before-seen manga lies in the works of this noble sport, which I will attempt to write!

Latin major, though... Honestly, I've never heard of that before. I guess you'll become a teacher/professor after college, then?

Sure! Tell me if you can take a look at this: Kosetsu's NaNoWriMo Page. If you can, find the "Novel Info" tab and read up. It is simultaneously not as bad and just as bad as it sounds. User Image: National Novel Writing Month is pretty awesome - you should try it next year. Or even this month, if you're feeling crazy.

As for what's up, I've been pretty busy. I think I told you I switched over to an Art major... Figured out that I am decently talented at Graphic Design, so I'm moving there as far as career options go. Hopefully, of course, I'll be writing books on the side. I've gotten pretty good at Japanese as well: passed the first rung of the JLPT! And I'm translating manga now (only scanslations and not for money or anything... but still).

How about you? Have you gotten into college? Has your brother been giving you trouble?
