Hey guys its me Peter and i just wanted to tell u guys just a couple of things about myself ... well where to start ... my favorite color is the color SAGE which is a shade of green and if anyone tells me otherwise i WILL do something about it!!!
So far this summer has been pretty good overall. Well to tell you the truth, the summer pretty much was filled with working out and preparing myself for some Army training referred to as LTC or Leaders Training Course. Yup Yup!!!
However once I got to Fort Knox, Kentucky!!! Home of the US Armor Center!!! HOOAH!!!
Yes!!! I love doing that!!! ... (sigh) Well back to my story ...
A month packed full of drill instructors yelling in your face; sleeping 4-5 hours a night; pressure from your platoon and squad to do your part; and training in navigating, orienteering, weapons zeroing, team cohesion and discipline!!! WOOHOO!!!
And just to let you know it was not as hard as what it should of been and have a lot of respect for the Privates and all the enlistees who went through Basic cuase they had to not only do that for a month but also with a much higher level of intensity from the cadre and their Drill Instructors.
In retrospect, I kind of wished I went through the nine weeks instead just to get a better understanding of Army life. However I would not trade the past month for anything. As one of my NCO's said before I left for LTC, "It will be the best experience you would never want to do again."
1st PLT 4th SQD Charlie Company
Just got back from winter break which was overall pretty much uneventful. I'm just glad that the first semester is over with. Now I can get to the courses I really want to take YES!!! Let's go Spring semester.
... I enjoy reading a variety of books as long as its fantasy, science fiction, manga, or about psychology, religion, or different cultures.
I like to play football and soccer even if im not very good at it BUT ITS THE FACT THAT I TRY THAT COUNTS!!! *shakes fists menacingly*
I enjoy cartoons of any kind but my favorites are disney movies and anime! other than that i just watch football when the season is in. GO GIANTS!!! WWWWOOOOO!!! YEA WHAT NOW!!! DON'T HATE!!! WE STILL GOT NEXT SEASON!!! ... sigh
Yup,yup thats me in a nutshell ... and thats how i like it ... one foot in sanity and the other in ...well lets just say im not really sure but its definitely not sanity i can tell you that!
