Hello, I'm Satoshi Hojo. I live in a sleepy town located in the Gifu prefecture of Japan called Hinamizawa. When I was young my biological father died and my mother re-married. My step-father beat my younger sister, Satoko, and I. So naturally we didn't like him. Our family was ridiculed by the village during the time of the Dm contruction incident since my step-father supported the dam and others in the village we against it. Even the head families. The Furude's were the only true family that didn't ridicule us, however; during the Watanagashi festival things started to go wrong. One year our parents were killed, the next the Furude family, save for Rika-Chan, was claimed and died. The following year I killed our aunt, since her and our uncle started to abuse Satoko and I after we were given to their care when our parents died...I can't really explain much else...
