Look at all the intellectual conversations going on over here... it's like a right little NPR session! ^_^ I kid, I <3 NPR anyways. Gosh, I cannot WAIT until I can rent wonderful movies like The Devil's Backbone. When I'm like 45. But that's okay... I'm patient. XP

Its like....an old legend.Really complicated story but basically these trolls kill a unicorn causing time to freeze for everyone except this girl......it looks cool everything is covered in frost and ice.......I cant remember it well,my copy broke 2 years ago,but it was *excellent*.

The Devil's Backbone doesn't have anything to do with Pan's Labyrinth other than the fact it takes place around the same time. There are similar themes in the movie, too, but it is more of a ghost story than a fantasy adventure. It takes place in an orphange that is hiding away gold, and one of the workers tries to steal it. Also, there is a ghost of a drowned boy wandering around for revenge. I think Del Toro called Pan's Labyrinth the "sister movie" of The Devil's Backbone. The summary I gave sucks, but it's worth a watch.

No, I haven't seen Legend. What's it about?

Hey have you ever seen The Legend?Its old and all,but its really,really good,and I think youd like it.I mean,I do....was The Devil's Backbone a prequel to Pans Labyrinth...or does it have nothing to do with it,and its just cool like that....?
