the beginning
........Hi, I'm Kairi. A long time ago, I lived in a place called Radiant Garden. From what I can remember, it was really great. My grandmother was the one that raised me there. I'm a lot stronger than I was before because of her. She would always tell me amazing stories about good concurring evil in different worlds. "Even in the deepest darkness, there will always be a light to guide you." she'd tell me.
.......I remember one specific day, I went roaming around the town. I probably shouldn't have done that, mostly because I got attacked by these strange creatures! Thankfully, a woman named Aqua saved me. Aqua said something that day that I'll never forget. But ever since then, I never exactly understood what she ment.I'm hoping my grandmother's story just might have something to do with it, that way I'll figure out how to end this darkness somehow. Hey, it's worth a shot!
.......Anyways, I live on an island now, Destiny Islands to be exact. I've met some interesting people here. Whom you might ask? Well, there's Selphie, she's really talented at jumping rope. And Wakka, he's one heck of a blitzball player! Oh and Tidus, he's very determinded to win any wooden swords battle, so I tend to not hang out with him much. Then there's my best friends Riku and-.... Oh, what was his name... Zor? No..uhhh, Soro? Not quiet...b-but- I could have sworn there was another boy on the island...
