About Me
Greetings!I'm Ichiro Yamato here, but I usually go by KnightSynergy online. You can call me by my real name, Seaver. I'm 28 years old as of this update. I'm an American-born Chinese, 5' 8" in height, and currently 150 lbs. My height, and more importantly, my weight, are important factors to me, given my emphasis on physical fitness and bodybuilding since early 2015, and I have no hesitation in sharing my fitness journey. I'm currently a software engineer at a startup company, having graduated from University of California, Merced with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering.
I have a long history since I registered on Gaia Online in 2004. Back then, I was obsessed with anime, manga, and Japanese culture. I also had a deep intense fascination in literature and creative writing. I devoted nearly all my time during my high school years in that way until I graduated in 2006. Afterwards, I started making dramatic changes to myself and my life goals. Some of the changes I initiated manually; other changes started to happen subconsciously. I fell farther and farther away from anime, poetry, and storywriting, and began to involve myself more with programming and, more impactfully, gaming.
I had played various games here or there while growing up, but I was never as into gaming as others were. At least not until college. College was when I began a renewed interest and focus on Starcraft: Brood War, and that led me to start playing it semi-competitively. After a while, I also branched into Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. After about a year, I was introduced into Defense of the Ancients map (DotA) for the Warcraft III engine. This became a huge part of my life for the next 4 years, and firmly established my new competitive nature. During the last year in which I was actively playing DotA, I was part of an online DotA team as the team captain, primarily playing the position of Hard Carry or Solo Mid. Our team disbanded early 2011, due to conflicts where each of us wanted the team to go.
With nothing to do, one of my friends introduced me to try League of Legends in May 2011. While initially hesitant and disliking the game at the start, I eventually grew to get used to playing the game. I was already deeply fond of the genre. Since then, I have played League of Legends semi-competitively and on-and-off (perhaps, a few months break here or there).
Throughout my entire gaming experience, I have also played a plethora of other games, including MMO titles such as World of Warcraft, Rift, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Guild Wars 2, Maplestory, and others, and various games on Steam. I still enjoy watching anime, reading stories and comics, and watching movies from time to time.

My sister says she will take me to the beach around Christmas if she has the gas money. So... I was wondering, if you have winter break, do you want to meet some where at the beach? We aren't going swimming or anything, but I like the beach a lot. -///- one of my main weaknesses. Watching the waves.
