That's the entire freshman class at my school. Since they seemed like the realllly wanted to be able to say they were goth, i showed them some Cinema Strange and Alien Sex Fiend but they gave me this look like I just grew tentacles and choked someone. They straight up told me that it wasn't goth, goth is metal. I wanted to just go die in a fire because, egad, are people really this ignorant?

I think whats worse is when like an awesome band is really awesome and then a bunch of s**t bands pop up doing the s**t that awesome band was doing. Like Nirvana or Bad Religion or something.
