Yea same I turn 23 in April and I'll probably sew on 2 months after. I wanted to go in medical field as a x Ray tech but for now I'm doing supply. Hopefully there's some good openings in 2 years that I can use for after military too. What do you do?
It depends on the situation in 2 years if I stay in or not. If there's a job open that I want when I can cross train I'll do that but if not I'll probably leave and just do more schooling for something I actually want to do. I got tricked into the career field I'm in now lol and I'm not trynna do that for 17 more years. And yea I feel you on that I don't think I'm responsible enough for those responsibilities. Hopefully they teach all that s**t in ALS but I doubt 1 month will cover it. How old are you btw?
Yeaaa dude that's my exact situation! We have different sections in my career field and they all use a certain system to do s**t except the section I got put in that I've been in the whole time does something way different. So now that I'm doing my "real" job I'm clueless. I deal with some airmen that's only been in half a year and they know more than me lmao it's kinda sad...shoulda rode that SrA a lil longer
Yea man I feel like I'm not gonna experience it all. I haven't even been sra for a year yet and they already expect me to act all supervisory. The shitty thing is I'm deployed right now and I work with 2 other sra that didn't make the cut. They're more experienced than me tho but I pretty much outrank them so I just feel stupid
