Hello. My (user)name is Captain Infinite, and I am thirteen years old. I like computers, video games, television, writing, sometimes reading (depends on the book), and... that's about it. I'm really bad at most sports. My favorite television programs are Doctor Who, Firefly (WHICH SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN CANCELED), Arrested Development, House, Monk, M*A*S*H*, and Fringe. My favorite films are Casablanca, The Pianist, Dead Poets Society, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.More into writing now. I generally write in satirical purple prose, even when I don't want to be sardonic, but I don't feel like doing that right now, because, in my opinion, using so many long, unnecessary adjectives, prepositional phrases, and poetic/"pretty" metaphors just confuses the reader. It's not that I hate overly descriptive prose in general; I hate it when people use overly descriptive prose just to make themselves sound more intelligent, especially when said people make sentences sound awkward by using the adjectives/adverbs either incorrectly and in a way that interrupts the flow of the sentence.
So that's all I have to say there.
