Hi, my name is Alyssa. I'm 17 from Vermont. I play the flute the Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Korean and Mexican bamboo flutes, as well as an Irish tin whistle. My family hosts exchange students every year. so far we've had a girl from Russia, 2 boys 1 girl from Brasil, a girl from Vietnam, Czech Republic, Mexico and Thailand.
I've been to 8 different cities in China: Shanghai, Chongqing, Leshan, Chengdu (before the earthquake), Jinan, Qufu, Rizhao and Hohhot in Inner Mongolia. I've also been to Vietnam: Hanoi and Ha Long Bay.
