Nimrod and Maggot are the most amazing people in the world. I thank God every day for having met them. I couldn't give them up, for anything, even myself.

I am judged for having a brain. I am judged for loving the color black, for loving rock music and supposedly 'emo' bands. I am judged for being different and being my own person. I am judged for having the friends I do. I am judged for laughing and talking loudly and not caring what people think of me. I am judged for reading and writing slash, for writing poetry. I am judged for being a virgin, and for not having a boyfriend.
I do not care that I am judged because I am strong, and I know who and what I am. I do not care that I am judged because I know I have friends and family that accept me for who I am, and love me for it. I know the truths about myself and I love who I am. I know that people are ignorant and judgemental, and that I am better than that. I know that I have the best friends, and that I am not a lesbian, a witch, a devil-worshipper, or 'emo'. [Though I also do not have anything against those that are.] The things that I believe and love, I believe and love with all of my being. I am not ashamed to believe, to dream, and to be me.
