The chemistry of Island, on the rocks.
Start out with a decent chunk of calcium carbonate, and a bottle of cheap whiskey. (The whiskey's for you, of course; this mixture at any point in the process may conclude in your untimely and explosive demise.) Pour in two tins of ink, seventeen tubes of oil paints, coconut milk, a road map leading nowhere, and 30 dog-eared books. A damp cardboard box follows. Add five bandaids, a head of lettuce, the strings of a bass guitar, the leaves of an apple tree, and forty-eight packs of cigarettes.
The next ingredients are highly combustible and must be handled delicately. (Take a few shots to settle your nerves. Have a sandwich, maybe).
Addictive tendancies, hippie ideals, bottled arson: these must be added first. Throw in a heap of procrastination, finely blended confusion, two cups of forgetfulness, an unconcealed wonder and rampant sense of the absurd. Two gallons of affection and one of slow-boiling resentment-- careful not to burn your hands. Mix a tint of bitterness with avoidance and nostalgia, and slop that in too. Let cool for an hour. Resume with whimsy, soupy sincerity and sarcasm in various amounts, canned guilt, a balloon of ridiculous creativity, a box of apocalyptic daydreams.
Three tablespoons of ignored despair, one discoloured prayer flag soaked in sentences, and two hundred blades of grass.

I figure this. Just keep recruiting and stalling for time by just talking in the guild. If we get recruits, that alone will fix everything, I've got plenty to teach. I guess the question is: can I juggle?
