Hiya!
My name's Gon. Gon Frecss. I'm twelve years old. n___n
A few months ago I went to take the Hunter Exam. My goal is to find my dad, who I learned was still alive two years ago from Kite. I'm set on finding him, despite the fact that he's said [in a recording] that he doesn't want me to.
During the exam, I made my first friend my age. Killua has been at my side since, and he's my best friend EVER. We have a team and we're never gonna split up. I also met Leorio and Kurapika, those two saved me from falling off a ship when I went to help one of the crew. It's kinda funny when they argue...they remind me of married couples I've seen. ^^;
I also met this freaky guy named Hisoka. He kinda creeps me out, but he's helped our group a few times, so he can't be all that bad. Still, I don't completely trust him.
I like eating a lot, and according to my friends, I have great sense of taste. I guess it's from growing up in the woods. My sense of smell is also pretty sharp, and if I get close enough, I can find a person by their smell, even if they're in a state of zestu. It comes in handy sometimes.
Animals are awesome. I can talk to most of them, and they're really fun to play with. I like playing with Killua more though. He's really really good at hide and seek.
--------------Abilities--------------
His hatsu ability is called Jajanken, a set of special attacks based on the game Rock-Paper-Scissors (Jan-ken-pon or Janken). The ability was named accidentally, when Gon stuttered on the first syllable (due to nervousness) when asked the name of his ability by Knuckle.
Rock (グー Gū) - Gon focuses the aura around his fists using Ko and releases it in a punch. Rock is a close range attack, and has the strongest power among the three.
Scissors (チー Chī) - Scissors is formed using two fingers in a pistol shape. Gon uses Transmutation abilities to transform his aura into a long blade extending from the two fingers. It's a middle range attack, and not as powerful as Rock, though it can cut through what Rock cannot break. Gon has more trouble with this attack because he is an Enhancer leaning towards Emission.
Paper (パー Pā) - For this, Gon uses his Emission abilities to project his Nen towards his enemies. Paper uses an open palm to emit the aura. It's a long range attack that fires nen as a projectile; because Gon is an Enhancer and Paper uses emission, a different nen type, it is weaker than Rock. However, he has found this to be useful for pincer type attacks, as demonstrated in his battle with Knuckle.
