I'm a mid-20s Brit living on the east coast of Canada. I have a small but growing book review blog, I knit lace, and I have yet to find a kind of tea that I dislike. I am a geek in many sense of the word, since I enjoy fantasy role-playing, video games, SFF novels, and studying. Yes, studying. Though I'm not currently enrolled in university, my more academic interests include textile history, anthropology, linguistics, Japan, nomadic tribal cultures, and learning as many languages as I can.

I have two cats, a bird, and in the past have raised pet rats, all of whom I adore. I live with a roommate whom I am not romantically involved with and never will be. I have more books than I can fit on my bookshelves. I am growing more fond of cooking. I shop at thrift stores and love a good bargain.
