I am jbooth30 who is in 7th grade and is currently 13. You see, I live in Kansas, and in Kansas it is still required by the law to recognize gifted students and give them harder stuff to do. I am one of those gifted stuff. I don't think that I'm this big genius that is going to be famous and change the world. If I thought that I would be way to full of myself. No, I am just a regular person, just another person in this world. Now, I like to skate, listening to music, and play video games like any other person. The problem is that skating, listening to music, and playing video games isn't what people expect of gifted people. They expect me be this big genius who spends his time studying and reading 24/7. Don't get me wrong, I like the gifted program. I like the way that they let me have more fun with my projects, even if it does require a little extra work. I just wish people didn't expect so much out of me. Hope none of my teachers or parents read this because they might get the wrong idea that I hate the gifted program. Look, I like the gifted program, I just don't want people to expect to much of me, I'm not going to become this big scientist, okay people.
