It's retarded logic to conclude
that there is no purpose just
because you can see the
fundamental mechanical processes
behind the universe. That's a
non-sequitur. Purpose is whatever
you make it. The whole human
experience is subjective anyway.
It's just a ride and you can
change the way you feel about it
in an instance. It's just a
choice. Just because your emotions
are all chemical reactions and
electrical impulses doesn't make
them any less real that they always
were.

Eh, I don't really see a problem
with "narcissism" of humans when
that really just means humans
valuing... human values. Of course
we project meaning onto the world
-- as long as we are humans, then
we must view human goals as THE
goals. And the greatest human goal
is happiness. So, pragmatically,
to be happy, we should see life as
meaningful. The purpose of human
life is to make purposes for
ourselves. Some people are not
satisfied by that. But we have to
learn to be.
Confining the universe into sensory
human perception is also illogical.
The very idea of 'purpose' is
compromised, human beings recreate
themselves in everything, its why
we see faces in trees and clouds.
The universe does not conform to any
human reason or rhyme, we just
want to pretend it does.
