Another way to gain gold is to comment on someones profile, like I'm doing.

Profile. You can change your profile by going to edit my profile, and well the title says everything. Also with the last tip I just gave you, we will show you how it's done.

Also another tip: To gain someone as a friend in Gaia, you go to either their profile and click on add friend, or go to a rally, and hover over the person untill you see a + sign, then click on add friend.
