Vell, du need to keep the lid on zhe trash if it has von. If dur dog is actually eating zhings from zhe garbage, he might be hungry. If it's a small garbage, keep it out of reach. Dogs hate zhe smell of bitter apples, du can find sprays such as zhat und ozher smells in zhe pet store. Get a larger trash can...

Zhat's all I can really zhink of as for stopping dur dog from eating out of zhe trash can. Using "good dog" und "bad dog" is definitely needed vizh a stern voice. Treats are gut, as vell vhen dur dog is head for zhe trashcan. Tell him "no" und pull him avay, zhen feed him zhe treat.
