Hi! I'm Earl, 20, male, and single. I'm a Physics Major on my fourth year at the National Institute of Physics, University of the Philippines Diliman Campus.
I'm part of the Semiconductor Group of the Condensed Matter Physics Laboratory, specializing in Scanning Electron Microscopy and Semiconductor Device Fabrication.
A lot has changed ever since the last time I've been here. I am now part of the Structure and Dynamics Group, still at the National Institute of Physics. I made this silly little career move to prepare myself for work opportunities in Japan. I heard that IT was in-demand in Japan, and I realized that I was happy doing programming more than anything. So now, I found myself immersed in several languages (Python, Fortran, C) used for scientific computing. I'll probably start running OpenSolaris (Unix) next year.I'm currently studying Japanese. I already mastered the Hiragana, some Katakana and a few Kanji. Also, I'm quite familiar with some Japanese phrases, yet I'm not knowledgable enough to fully converse in Japanese. And that's why I've been looking for some friends who can help me improve here.
I took the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 4 this year, and I'm still anxious to know the results. However, pass or fail I'm taking Level 3 next year.. I guess that's just my resolve.I've had numerous love interests yet I never had a girlfriend (the last one was close though..) Anyway, I might just be one of those cynics who believe that "Love is a mental illness." So as of the moment, I have no intention of getting one--unless of course you're in level with Ai Otsuka or Aya Hirano. =p
Still no improvements in this area. Maybe I'm not even looking.. lol. Maybe it's because deep in my heart, I feel that someone is waiting for me there. 私の心は、日本国のなかです。--
that might just be the reason why I've been doing all the preparations needed to get there, and there's just nothing that can stop me from getting there.My profile here is getting a bit outdated.. hehe.. my bad for being away for half a year.. Gaia has changed a lot since the last time I've been here. I hope the people here I was with remained the same. Oh yeah, since I don't get to visit Gaia all the time, my blog site is probably a better place to get updated:
