PSA: For anyone asking me to sell something they see me listing in my store for less.. I'm not just buying stuff from the cash store and selling it. It took me time to make this gold. You can do it too!
If you need gold, you can earn it most quickly by fishing or doing puzzles. You also can get free items by clicking the "daily chance" cart at the top of each header page. Then, go to the Marketplace, ( listed under "Market" ) and sell your item for *more* than the average buy price. Make sure it's enough to cover the 2% service fee, and make you some profit on top of that. After it sells, sit there and refresh the page until you the same object selling for the average daily price ( or less! ). Buy it. You just made some gold. Do that enough times, and you can make the gold to buy what you want. That's how I got most of my items.
