A myriad of memories lie within,
like the shimmering facets of a gem.
Yet, eyes as blank as glass adorn,
the aged, wrinkled discolored skin.
A nameless voice cries in the night,
a call begging for deliverance.
Frail limbs jerk to the cruel rhythms,
played on drums that echo of loss.

Raw screams of a soul play across,
the bleakness of eternal silence.
Longing for the end of the end,
craving for the sweet darkness.
Entombed within his body, a shell.
Forever he lies in silent emptiness.
The rope swings and subtly sings,
"Come embrace my deliverance."
