My name is Brittany and I’m 18. I want to go to college for Illustration/Digital Animation.
Although my username is Ayalyyy, I had wanted just Ayaly. It’s the name of one of my characters (I’m one of those people whose OC’s are their BABIES). Someone had suggested to me that I add a number to the end of it, but… I find that so unappealing. The extra y’s look better to me.
I’ve always wanted to be a tattoo artist, as well as a mangaka. It’d be wonderful to have my own tattoo shop with a built-in art studio of my own. Hoping for the future! -crosses fingers- I’m nowhere near the skill that I want to be at when I finally do start my manga (that‘s one reason why I created this thread… improveimproveimproveaaagh!), though I think about it and my character’s every day. The characters that I had created for that story are very dear to me, and I only use them in RP’s with people that I trust very much. Other than them, I do create characters strictly for Role Playing. C: I’m always looking for a good RP/RP partner. If you know of any or are interested in any 1x1s, tell me in a quote or PM! I’d seriously love to know.
I don’t watch anime as much as I watch manga. I used to NEVER watch anime because things like obnoxious voices and botched storylines annoyed me, though I have to say that it’s been getting a lot better lately. Hiromu Arakawa (creator of Fullmetal Alchemist) and Ken Akamatsu (creator of Negima!/Love Hina) have influenced me greatly, and I loved the FMA anime(s). I’m currently working on reading: Negima!, Black Butler, Death Note and Pandora Hearts, and watching Madoka Magica. <3
I’ve never really played any games other than Pokemon (BW/HGSS FTW. I LOVE N BUT HATE HIS FULL NAME) up until recently. The only consoles I own are the Gameboy, GBA, and DSi. And I finally bought a ps2 a couple weeks ago. YEAH, I’M REALLY BEHIND THE TIMES. You guys should suggest some games to me! <3 I discovered Disgaea DS and fell head over heels in love with it, to the point where I bought Disgaea 2 for the PSP and Disgaea 4 for the PS3 even though I don’t have those consoles.
Everybody I tell that to gives me a look like I’m crazy. It’s not like I don’t PLAN on getting those consoles, though.
I also bought Final Fantasy 3, 4, and 12; Devil May Cry, and Kingdom Hearts. I’ve been wanting to get into these but have totally consumed myself with Disgaea. I know that if I try to start another right now, I’ll just end up having to restart it. I really can’t play more than one game at a time, because I become obsessed with one and forget about the others whenever I try. xD
I've never been to a Con before, this year will be the first. Tora-Con and hopefully Anime Boston. If you have any advice, or will be going to those, hit me up! <3
