Well, the domestic discipline lifestyle aims to return male and female to their traditional roles.The version i follow aims the exact opposite but that is even harder to explain than the normal one so that is maybe something for later...
Now comes the difficult part in explaining this in the correct way since there are parallels with sex, bdsm, sm and what not more without having to do with them in the first place.

Something like that yes.
Traditionally speaking, the male would make sure that there would be food, drinks, protection, procreation, money and teaching their boy's what they knew while the woman would take care of the household, the kids, preparing the food, educating the girls, the wash and some more things.
Now, what are the current roles of male and female, and how will their roles change with time?
